Ruijen, originally from Taiwan, has cultivated a rich and diverse background in architecture, urban planning, and design. Her journey began with OUT Scholarship research on "Post-Celebration: City-Urban Renewal with Universal Exposition & Olympic Games," where she explored the integration of sustainable urban design principles. Her comprehensive study focused on the London Olympic Games' impact on city renewal and its potential applications in revitalizing her hometown of Taipei City.

Ruijen’s academic achievements include being a recipient of the Taiwan Ministry of Education Scholarship Program for Overseas Study in Arts and Design, highlighting her dedication and talent in the field. Her professional experience allows her to engage with a broad range of design projects. Her portfolio includes high-end residential and retail spaces, office headquarters, cultural centers, and exhibition spaces, encompassing both private and public developments.

Ruijen is excited to apply her experience to new Butler Armsden projects, and contribute to innovative and sustainable design solutions.
