B.Arch | Cal Poly San Luis Obispo
Jason got his B.Arch at California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo, near his hometown of Atascadero. He has worked throughout California, spending time in Santa Barbara, Palm Springs, and finally San Francisco.
Jason's first job in San Francisco was working as a model builder for Aidlin Darling. After that he worked at Butler Armsden Architects from 2015-2017, followed by Sutro Architects, TRG Architecture + Interior Design, and finally made his way back to our firm in 2021!
Jason has always enjoyed working with his hands in woodshops, designing and fabricating furniture. He is interested in researching and learning about digital fabrication and its influence on the field of architecture.
He says the best part of being an architect is that you are constantly learning new things. "More often than not we are designing single family homes, but the occupants are constantly changing and so are their needs. This gives us the opportunity to learn about a vast variety of disciplines as well as new practices to accommodate the different users."
